Inabnit Plaque at Snow Lake

Post by TomTuriano »

Hi Everyone,

Joe Josephson informed me today that during the summer of 2002 he noticed that the plaque commemorating Fred Inabnit's early explorations of the Beartooths had been removed from its home at Snow Lake.

Having grown up at East Rosebud Lake, Joe visited the plaque often and expressed deep regret that the plaque had been removed.

If anyone has any information about the plaque's whereabouts, please contact me or Joe Josephson at <[email protected]>.

Thank you,

Thomas Turiano

Inabnit Plaque Found!!

Post by TomTuriano »

In mid July of this year, Kim Latterell and Bob Lesher of Billings, Montana found the lost Inabnit plaque. Latterell is spearheading an effort to have the plaque reattached in a prominent place. If you are interested in assisting in this effort please contact me or Kim Latterell at [email protected].
