Binding Problem!!!

Folks...all of the Select Peaks books shipped before December 27, 2023 will have a binding problem that you can fix easily at home. I discovered the problem around then, and repaired every book that I shipped after that point. The problem is not actually with the binding itself, but if you let the problem go without fixing it, eventually the binding could weaken and potentially fall apart. The problem is that the edges of the end paper are not glued properly. It is very easy to fix just by squirting a narrow bead of Sobo glue into that gap all the way around the three sides of both the front and back covers. Do not use too much glue! Just a thin bead and then smooth it with a credit card or teflon bone folder. If you put too much glue in there, it will soak through or spew over the top and glue several pages together. The most important area to glue is the area immediately adjacent to the binding, as that is the area that comes under the most stress.
